Maryam Idrees was born on May 1, 1992, in Mirpur, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan. After completing her education up to the bachelor’s level in her hometown of Mirpur, she obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Technology and Business Administration Management from the International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan, an institution renowned globally, especially in the Muslim world.
Alongside her academic journey, she has played an active role as a social and human rights activist and has participated as a keynote speaker in various programs focused on Kashmir-related issues. She has also contributed significantly to extracurricular activities, earning several awards and recognitions by participating in multiple events.
Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Management Science, with a strong focus on her academic career.
Maryam Idrees is deeply concerned with human welfare and is committed to achieving her life’s objectives by focusing on key areas such as human rights, the Kashmir issue, the healthcare system, child and women protection, and education reform.

Her objective has been to contribute to the improvement and development of Pakistan’s education system by introducing advanced techniques that equip the new generation to meet the demands of the modern era and compete with today’s global challenges.

Since the beginning of her academic journey, Maryam Idrees has been dedicated to raising awareness and engaging the younger generation on critical social issues. As a committed social activist, she has played a vital role in promoting empowerment across various sectors and aspects of life. In recognition of her impactful efforts and unwavering commitment to her objectives, she was honored by Prof. Dr. Yousaf Ahmed Al-Draiweesh, President of the International Islamic University Islamabad.
